Dear Friend,
I want to thank you for all the support you provided to me in my run for the 18th Illinois House of Representatives seat. Although we did not achieve the result that we wanted, I am very proud of the high quality campaign that we ran and the fact that it was clean and compelling.
A great many people helped along the way. My Campaign Committee did yeoman work but a great many other people helped in numerous ways. I thank each and every one of you for any and all support you provided. I am extremely proud of the fact that you were in my corner. I value your friendship and will continue to do so. It was an interesting and compelling journey. I never could have made it without you. We can all feel good about joining the democratic process in a hands-on way. We contributed to the furtherance of the Land of Lincoln!
